I used a pair with BeoLab 3s to connect to the pre-outs of one of my Rotels and they work well. The RA-02 has a set of pre-outs (in fact it's an exceptionally well specced amp) which are perfect for driving your BeoLab 3s.

Re: Please help me, i want to connect my beolab 3 speakers to my amp.....

Hi thanks to both of the responses, my amp is the rotel RA-02.

Could someone tell me what cable i would need to run them off my laptop, they are meant for pc/laptops i hear.

Cheers.

Re: Please help me, i want to connect my beolab 3 speakers to my amp.....

A model number would be helpful, not all amplifiers have variable line-level (called pre-amp) outputs, although virtually all have line outs intended for use with a tape player/CD recorder, but these must not be used as they run at full volume all the time!

Re: Please help me, i want to connect my beolab 3 speakers to my amp.....

They have an Amp integrated, so you need to look for a regulated line out on your amplifier.

Most likely (if it has that at all) that would require a cinch connection.

While powerlink to 3.5mm stereo are quite frequent and available on ebay, powerlink to cinch I havent seen but you could get that with another adapter inbetween.

I would ask my dealer, he can probably supply you with one.

There is a good chance though, that your amplifier may not offer a regulated line out ... what is that model?

Cheers

Please help me, i want to connect my beolab 3 speakers to my amp.....

i have looked all over the net for a way to do this but with no joy.

I received them just as they are with no cables, i understand about the mark 3 cable etc.

What i want to do is connect them to my amp, is this possible, is there a wire to connect them to speaker terminals?

Many thanks.
