I recall a member saying that they sound like a tin box. They have a different (nicer) timbre in the lower register than the 8000&#39;s, at half the price. Ridiculous! I&#39;m not sure i want to upgrade to bigger beolabs...</p><p>The statement i posted was sent to me courtesy of an ebay seller offering 8000&#39;s a while ago, which i didn&#39;t end up going for. For awhile we had 4000s in a link room and 1s in the main room and I found myself frequently choosing the 4000s for music over the 1s. Arguably the best value available in B and O speakers.
