Umm, ok. Sounds a bit tricky, if not impossible. :) I think i'll forget the Beoport for now. Maybe some other time with another system.

This won`t work, I`m afraid. The BC 9500 is not able to handle N.MUSIC/N.RADIO, because these commands are reserved to BC 9500`s A.TAPE2 and PHONO. You could connect the Beoport via a Beolink converter to the audio aux link socket, but this would not help.

If you have a have an Intel mac mini with IR receiver and apple remote, a Lintronic box -238 can help. Let the Lintronic box convert Beo commands, maybe in PC mode convert to apple commands and you can control the mac and your BC 9500 (but only in 1way mode).

Hi again,

I read previous posts on this matter but they didn't cover my questions completely and i wanted to be sure about all the details before heading to a local dealer, so here we go. :)

I'm planning to connect my MacMini to BC9500 via Beoport. Since i am not able to control the Beoport from BC without Masterlink, do i benefit anything else than better sound quality from this setup? Will i be able to control the music (iTunes) with apple's own remote or do i have to use Beoport's software manually? What about the connection between Beoport and BC9500? Is it just a normal 7p DIN cable between Beoport's masterlink and BC's aux or do i have to use a special adapter for this?

I guess that's all for now. :)
