It was rather expensive I seem to remember though - and it may not be available any more.

The 2500 arrived in 1991 - it may well have changed to metal grilles in 1999 - but I can't remember that!

Beolab 2500 Question

I'm thinking of buying a pair of these speakers but i would like to fit them with the metal grille covers as i don't like the fabric ones..now my question is this...can you just remove the fabric covers and simply replace them with the metal covers? Or is it not that simple? Any information would be appreciated...Also here on beoworld it says that the 2500 speakers were first released in 1999...But I think they are actually older than that...Does anybody know?

Thanks
