I have a Beovision 3 with masterlink. I have my digital TV connected via the source [SAT]. I also have a STB-C to control my digital box. Then I use me remote to activate the sound on the kitchen through the [SAT]-button even though it's not on in the living room. Works very fine!

Re: BL 2000 mkI vs mkII

Strange!

If I listen to radio or CD on my BS9000, [PLAY]/[STANDBY] turn on the BL2000 to the same source. But if I watch DTV [PLAY]/[STANDBY] will set the BL2000 to TV, the same goes for my BL3500.

Guess it´s because your BV3 is a more modern TV with ML.

Re: BL 2000 mkI vs mkII

Hi there Daniel!

Why can't you just press the [play]/[standby]-button on you Beolab 2000? On mine that turns on the sound for the active source at the moment in my living room, even if thas is DTV.

Lloydern

BL 2000 mkI vs mkII

My two BL2000 has the [TV] button (together with [CD], [RADIO] and [TIMER]). With the analogue TV net closed down I no longer have any use of the [TV] button as I use [DTV] to watch telly nowadays.

The first version of BL2000 had [TAPE] instead of [TV]. Will that button activate [A.MEM] on a BeoSound 4 or a BeoSound 3200?

If so a mk1 would be more useful then a mk2! I know it was possible to upgrade by changing the tube with the buttons (believe Mr Anders(son) did this). Is the tube with [TAPE] still available to order for a downgrade?

I know the speaker is dicontinued but B&O should offer a new tube with [DTV]. I really miss the possibility to quick activate the speaker in the kitchen to listen to the movie or TV show during my raids for something to eat or drink.
