I am quite sure both, BL6000 and BL8000 will stay in the product range for some more years. Their design still looks fresh, not outdated, and most of all, both speakers keep selling very well. As long as this is the case, I don't see how or why B&O should discontinue them.

I don't know what all this talk is of ICE Amps in the BeoLab 8000, I don't see how that should affect the lifespan of a product. The BeoLab 9 is obviously a very very recent speaker, and it still utilises class A/B amps...

I bought a new Beolink 5000 remote about 8 months ago. I was really amazed B&O still had them.

I think the BL8000 will be in production longer especially if they use ICE amps.

But which design do you expect to stay longest on the market, from today. My guess is Form2 or Beo4, or perhaps BL8000...

Fact that other companies are copying design from B&O in my opinion does not devaluate its design, I look at it from other approach - its an aknowlegement of the superb design.

The BL6000's are unfortunately devalued to me now that almost every home cinema looks like it has BL6000's in it (such as LG) yuck! hehe

The BS3200 is getting a bit sad now too, but this is just my opinion

It used to be 15 years, but now i would say 10 for the real icons.

Personally, i think every 7 years is perfect for the rest..
