Thanks guys,

I'll wait for August (maybe "someone" will give me B-C for my 30th B-day) but we'll see. I'm not a fan of the design of the Beovision 8, so that would rather speak for keeping my old Sony another year or two.

I thought the BC 6-23 was phased out since it is difficult to source the displays in this size.

For the 26", they do have a newer and IMHO better chassis in the BV8 26 which should fit, they wouldn't be able to support surround though anymore.

Alternativly if the one we discussed for the BV7 32 would fit, that could work very welll and justify the higher price tag on the BC6.

I don't think it will disappear, that would be a mistake in my opinion - it seems variety in the product portfolio is key.

So there is a possibility for an upgrade, I don;t think it will happen very though. I would wait for the release of the financials middle of augus, they usually announce what will happen in the near future.

The current BC6 I would only buy used with a huge discount since it is so behind with the connections.

I think it is unlikely that there will be any further major updates for the Beocentre 6-26. The Beocentre 6-23 is already being phased out.

I am contemplating changing my bedroom tv from my presen 23" Sony to a BeoCenter 6 26". As I know that B & O are planning on updating the Beovision 7s to 100hz, was wondering whether anyone knew of any updates to the BeoCenter 6-series? Will I be disappointed in buying one NOW only to find out had I waited six months I'd have got a much better product?
