I had a similar setup with a BV7 and had both (TV and PC2) in option2. Worked well :-)

Avant in livingroom. beolab connected to the tv directly. No other music system besides pc-2. I have pc2 in option 6 and it has a ir reciever in the link room where the computer is. I tried V.OPTION 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 (did not change A.OPTION). But no option reacted when I press N.MUSIC. It just screw things up because now I cant make the tv screen to shut off like it dit before when I press AV + TV for example, to make my projector work with the sound and no picture on the avant

I take it that the Avant is your master source. Do you have a music system as well? If not, the Avant will be Option 1. If you have an audio system then it depends on how you have your main speakers attached.

I have lost my previously saved messages fromn the old forum so I cant remember the technical part on this currently

I have a AVANT realflat tv connected to pc2 in link room (ir in link room).

I guess I need to have option 6 on my pc-2 but what option is supposed to be on the tv and do I remember correct that I should turn off the pc2 and the power to the tv for about 1 minute for the masterlink unit in the tv to "recognize" the new connected pc2 ?
