Sorry pal, it's SOUND, MUTE, MUTE, MUTE.

Each press of the mute changes between internal, mute and external.

External speakers on Beovision LS5500

I have connected two external (Passive) speakers to the Two-pin DIN sockets on the back of my Beovision LS5500.

The problem is no sound comes out of the speakers, the sound still comes out of the internal speakers.

There is no user manual on site, but there are manuals on site for simlar Beovisions. In one of the user guides I can find a cryptic reference to setting speakers to internal when using headphones, but no indication as to how speakers might be switched between internal and external. I have started at my Beolink 1000 until I am spotty-eyed and searched in vain for a switch.

Has anyone got any ideas?
