Yep, I had the same problem with one of my first ones. I sent them back and got a pair for new working ones. It took time but they came, eventually.

As indicated above I had ordered 3 Smartdimmers from Innovus, and after a long wait I finally got them in June.

Unfortunately none of them are working fine, the light is turned off after about 5 minutes.

Has any of you got the same problem? Do you know if the more recent one have the same problem?

Just to round things up, I have now tested the dimmers, and they work fine when operating them with the beo4 or bl1000. You can number them just like the lc1-2 and create lightpictures. The reception is not as good as the LC, but nearly there. Oddly though, it does not respond to the light command of a A9 keyring... aparently Innovus forgot to program it for that command.

The same for me, don't work with the keyring.

I have now got 2 new ones, they work fine regarding the finger-touch operation, but will not really respond to IR commands, irritating, I can only turn them off with my beo4, not turn them on. Anyone else had this experience?

By the way they were really friendly and gave me 2 new ones right away (I am house-sitting near by the office at the moment), but that is not really making up for the product not working properly.

Before sending them back, try flip the plug in the wall outlet (or wires in the plug).
They are sensitive for this so give it a try!
I've had the same problem but now it works fine.

Yes I tried that a lot of times, but it only worked the first time, then it still didn't respond to touch, unfortunately.

I got mine 2 days ago, none of them are working properly. One of them switches on for a moment, then off and is out of reach, the other is working with IR, but not responding to touch... So they will go back to Innovus. Fortunately I live close by, so I'll probbaly drop then off my self.
