I have just acquired a used BeoVision 3 32" TV with DSS module and set-top box controller module, and have it set up with BeoLab 9 as the front speakers and BeoLab 8000 as the rear speakers. DVD1 is also connected via AV output as the DVD link in Beo4 remote. As the DVD1 does not play mp3, I want to connect a non-B&O DVD player such as a Pioneer one to the V.TAPE output. Is there anyway I can add this non-B&O DVD player into the Beo4 system so I only use one remote control? The DECODER output is occupied by a set-top box. Also, am thinking of linking a non-B&O subwoofer to the system. With the BeoLab 9 pretty impressive bass output, does anyone think it is necessary to do so? If so, what system can I link it so once the TV and DVD are on, the subwoofer can automatically turn on? Many thanks.
