Thanks Peter, I've registered it as a CDV cause the DVD option doesn't come up. I really am clueless and not sure what to do next. Does it automatically tune it to a certain channel. I've pressed play on the DVD player but nothing seems to be happening. I didn't get the manuals with the equipment sadly hence my problem.

Anymore help would be more than welcome.

Have you got the manuals? You need to register the equipment on the Avant - see attached.

Help with connecting DVD 1 to Beovision Avant

Please can somebody help! I was given a DVD1 and Beovision Avant (telly) and I cannot for the life of me work out how to connect the DVD player and get it to actually work. I have managed to connect it and can sometimes here sound from the DVD but it only ever comes up with a grey screen on the TV. I'm new to B&O so I would really appreciate if someone can give me an exact guide to how to connect the two.... thank you very much.
