This is perfectly doable with the following part: 0898117 connected to the AUX port making it an output as well as an input. RCAs will then run to the CD input on the Surround Sound Processor.

Of course you can still use the ML network with your active (possibly connected to the unused Pentas) as well as the passive kit & BeoPort. Just remember that to hear them, you'll have to switch your Surround Sound Processor to CD and then choose a source with your Beo 4.

A note: you can certainly use the BeoLab Pentas as front channels. Make certain that the Surround Sound Processor has pre-amp RCA outputs which will insure that you can connect any BeoLab speakers easily. (There are other ways to do it, but a pre-amp is the easiest)

I hope this helps. If I've misinterpreted your plans, please let me know and I can revise my advice.

/T

Sourround and other brand LCD tv

Hi.

I have a Beosound 3200 (3-4 years old), a set of Beolab Penta (Orange Display 1992), One Beolab 2 Subwoofer (new), 1 Beoport (Old model), 1 Active link, 1 Passive Link.

I will at some point buy a set of Beolab 6000 or Beolab 8000 but would for this setup right now, use a normal set of speakers (without amplifiers).

I would like to hook up a non B&O LCD flatscreen, and a non B&O sourround reciever.

What do I, exept for one set of speakers, one sourround reciever and one LCD screen need to buy ???

I have all the cables needed to hook speakers and stereo up (master link cables) ... But what kínd of special cables do I need ?? Are those cables special made cables .... Or cab I buy on the net ???

Thanks for the help
