The scart can only be used to activate the DVD player - not to activate it as a CD player or use the Radio section. You can play CDs through the DVD function, but it's better not to IMO.

Re: BV8 and BC2 Question - Delayed Sound for Music

Very strange... This is not the delay caused by the BC2 checking if it is a DVD or CD. The CD is actually playing.

Re: BV8 and BC2 Question - Delayed Sound for Music

I use them wiothout ML connection and the sound & pic run OK

Re: BV8 and BC2 Question - Delayed Sound for Music

Not correct.

The BV8 & BC2 needs to communicate to each other trough the ML... so both are needed! My speakers are attached to the BV8 as well.

What bugs me a bit is, if I put in a music CD, it starts playing, however it takes 3 to 5 seconds until my BL3 speakers that are connected to the TV turn on.

I have scart and ML connection between BC2 and BV8.

Any ideas if this is normal which I doubt or if I can re-configure that thing somehow? It does not happen when I connect the speakers straight to the TV but that somehow defeats the purpose.

Cheers

JK
