lol yeah I am just getting the speakers and a remote.It just has more of an upgrade potential, when I can afford the 6000s, I will use the beolab4 for my Mac. Just seems better in the long run.What do you guys think?

I love my 6500, it can power a lot of speakers. But yeah she is long in the tooth and needs to be replaced, its loud but not quiet loud enough considering its in the UK and I am in Japan.

There have been a few posts recently of people not liking the BeoSound 1, but actually I think it's one of B&O's strongest products. Definitely not poor - unless you compare it to a 6500 system which is a little bit unfair!

I have been in but no gold one yet but they are getting one in for me this weekend. The white one is to like BOSE for me, but it looks ok. Its a three way split the silver/black/yellow. The yellow will either be great or poo, the silver is great and fits in most places and so does the black but I find the black is more descrect. I am just glad the beo 4 is one colour lol. Any other opinions are welcome.

The colour I like the most is the silver one. But the white (painted white) one looks very different too. Though there have been complaints about the white colour finish, I still would check one out at my dealer's if I wanted one. Go and have a look...

It's gold in appearance, as it is anodised aluminium, the yellow looks very nice, expensive and stylish - in my opinion.

The dark grey, and black colours are also a great choice...

Ok first of all I know its a beosound 1 and not to great. But I am ungrading from 6500 that my dad gave me a longtime ago, its a big step for me a year out of uni.I was wondering if anyone has seen it in yellow, as the sample colours shown in store (Japan, Harajuku) is very different from the website. I loved the limited one they released and I know it isnt as nice but I would still like it. Basically, is it yellow or gold? I cant seem to find a decent image. I know its stupid but I dont want to buy an ugly colour, it would be easier if B&O just did a Ford on us, you can have any colour, as long as its........cheers
