Now I am just looking for a pair of speakers to complement it.

Hi Dario. I've had a Beocenter 9300 for about 12 years now and I still love it. I use it with non B&O speakers at the moment, but I'm looking for a different pair. I think the Beolab 8000's look very good in combination with the Beocenter 9300. But for the same kind of money you can get better sounding Beolab 3's. At first I thought this wouldn't look right, but I saw the picture in the 2006/2007 catalogue of the Beolab 3's with the Beocenter 9500, and I like it.

Get a Cadillac! For a similar trip, I could pack the girlfriend, four friends, three crates of beer, a Beomaster 1200 along with a couple of corpses wrapped in a carpet in the trun... oh wait, I don't have four friends.

If I had my own oilfield in the garden, I would!

Prius I am afraid - though the Triumph is out and about, having just been serviced! Too much to take down - I have my 8002 which Tim is going to fix, the corpse of a Beomaster 4400 - we were going to play a practical joke on B&O by making a 4401 and presenting it to them for the museum but Frede found a real one! Also some bits of a Beolab 5000 and a compute screen - The GT6 wouldn't really be up to it and it doesn't even have a radio so Andy would not be happy!

salut all

sad to say i have never progressed to modern day kit - i still live happily with my bc 8500, bc9300, passive penta 1's, my recently acquired mx5500(for 99p) and to a lesser extent my bc4000 although not too happy with it or the x25's

the only *** in the woodpile(somewhat un pc) are the wharfedales used with the bc8500 although still on the lookout for some more penta's(preferably passives - foam rot and all - the refoamed units are now really excellent - to my rather jaded ears!)
