i was thinking of instead of using a BL 7.1 / 7.4 as centre-speaker,
use the internal speakers as center.
That's how i used the built-in active speakers on my MX7000,
as center / voice.(DeToma X501)

All the B&O TVs with surround sound decoders do this - B&O wouldn't break that tradition...

I can't see B&O ever doing Virtual surround sound - it's fake - and sounds it. If you want sound to come from behind you, you'll need a speaker behind you.

the external Beolab speakers would be used for Front L+ R, and so on ?

Considering that the BV8 40" will be a main room TV and will offer more and better connections and options, how much cheaper will it be than a BV7 32" or a BV7 40"? This will be very interesting news.

No use in simply putting down specs - that's like saying I want a car with 350 BHp and such and such level of torque - it doesn't really mean anything!

Nah, think it's just a wish list.

Looks like the specification from a Philips TV. Don't know which one, but the specs lists from Philips looks exactly like that.

37-40 inch screen

Full HD

Dolby Digital / DTS module (standards or option)

Price Tage 4000-5000 euro

This way B&O the BV8 could become a great product!
