Although not from the buttons on the BS3000, the only ones that will do anything are the volume controls. Since the BV7 acts as a videomaster in your setup I believe it would not show the Netmusic. If you are running a PC with Beoplayer I believe you can set the beoport to become an audio master, with BM Link though that is not possible.

The BS3000 is upgradeable though.

Did you get the IR eye for the beoport? That should pick up the Beo 4 signals. If you have your Mac in the same room and connected to the BV7 with the intention of using Front Row you might be able to skip the BS3000 upgrade. If you check the mac forum on this site there is plenty of information about all this.
