Steve, if you just want to clean them and don't need to do a light polish like for Rizzo's suggestion, go to a kitchen appliance store, or the kitchen section of a home improvement store. Ask for stainless steel appliance wipes. They come premoistened with some mineral oil which removes dirt and finger prints from the steel. Then use a damp cloth to wipe off any excess oil if you need to.

We did what was recommended somewhere on this site......we got the car polish with the "bug remover"...it's a very, very light rubbing compound....and didn't apply too much pressure....then finished with a polish only....they came out like new...

my damn displays still dont work though....

Try glass cleaner (I like Mr Muscle) and a microfibre cloth. It always works for me.

Some members here recommend applying a coat of baby oil after cleaning to give a good sheen. I have never tried this, though I can imagine it gives good results.

not bad but still leaves "stripes"
