Almost even more exclusive than B&O and certainly holds its value better. Now, a BV7 (aluminum) would go nicely together with Friz Hansen stuff, but "unfortunately" I have more furniture by Alvar Aalto (wooden) and Eames (white plastic) and my apartment is not that big. Thus, a white BV8 might be the best option designwise - that is until I have enough money to trade the Aalto to Friz Hansen (ok, I love Aalto as well).

Re: White 8-32: getting dirty?

Yes – I am a designer (and a collector). I can see your point about benefits of white color! Furthermore, I see you like scandinavian design in general (the glassware is finnish).

Glad to hear white BV8 is not too sensitive to greasy little hands (I also have two small daughters). I also have two young girls so I was a bit apprehensive about the white model. I like it because it is discreet – particularly against a white wall. Don't worry though – the material cleans up very easily if any marks get on it. Here is a pic of mine.

White 8-32: getting dirty?

Hi,

any owners of white 8-32 here?

I prefer the looks of white to the black one, but I'm worried about the chance of it getting really dirty-looking (white, "soft" material...) in time, especially since I have small kids.
