It is only sending a RGB-signal (no sound).

Unfortunately I can not register my V8000 as VTAPE2 because there this option is not offered in the registration menu. So I choose for the AV-scart the option EXPANDER and add to my BEO4 the command VTAPE2.

I start the V8000 manually and press VTAPE2 on my BEO4 and then RECORD on my BEO4 my videotape will be recorded with sound on the harddisk of my DVD2!

Re: BV 6-22 + DVD2 + Beocord V8000

I have a similar set-up with a DVD2 and a V8000 connected to a Beocenter 6, with the DVD2 registered as DVD and the V8000 registered as V-MEM. While I can record from DVD2 to V8000, it doesn't seem possible the other way round. If I start a tape on V8000 and then switch to DVD2 to record it, the playback on V8000 automatically stops immediately. This is a little bit frustrating.

However, in your case it looks more like a technical problem as you are still able to record the picture.

There does not seem to be many users of both DVD2 and V8000 on this forum, so we are probably bound to get to our B&O dealers for help.

BV 6-22 + DVD2 + Beocord V8000

Hello,

I have the following setup. Beovision 6-22 with a DVD 2 registered as V-Tape plus a Settopbox (V-Tape + STB) and with a Beocord V 8000 registered as V-Aux.

Due to the fact that the V 8000 is used as V-Aux I can not operate it with the Beo4. But that doesn't matter to me.

I want to record a videotape from the V8000 on the on the hard disc of the DVD2.

I tried it like this:

I chose V-Aux and start manually the V8000 by pressing play. On the TV screen I can the movie and hear the sound. I press RECORD on the Beo4 and the DVD2 starts recording. It recognizes the signal at EXT1 and begins recording the videotape. But when I later view the recording hard disc I have to discover that after 5 or 6 seconds of recording the sounds stops and only the picture is recorded......

I have already shown to a B&O technician and he could not find the bug. Even an update of the BV6-22 software didn't fix it. We exchanged the Scartcables......

Has anyone an idea what could be wrong?

Thank you for answering!
