You can get a working one for about $200 or probably less in the UK. It is under receivers in the listings. Try &lt;a href="http://www.beoworld.org/prod_details.asp?pid=332" target="_blank"&gt;here&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;This is a development of the 1900 and later was developed into the 4500. The amplifier stopped working and I took it to the local B&amp;amp;O store and was given a quote of $850 to repair. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I can find no information&amp;nbsp;about this system (the 2000 is not listed on this site under the Beosystems) and the staff at the B&amp;amp;O store could not offer any information other than, &amp;#39;That&amp;#39;s a classic.&amp;quot;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I&amp;#39;m trying to find out if it is&amp;nbsp;worth repairing at that price. It&amp;#39;s a beautiful&amp;nbsp;system that I&amp;#39;ve enjoyed for 20 years, but I don&amp;#39;t know if that would be a waste of money that would be better used towards new equipment.
