As for the description of the forum, i very quickly put the first thing that sprang to mind. However, if you feel you could improve on this, tell me and i'll happily change it!

very good idea! I think that would be a good explication for everybody that does not know what a workbench is. They have about 69% together...

I voted for Advanced Technical Forum as it seems to be the best description of what the forum would be.

The point made above in several posts about non-native english speakers and a name that is clear I feel is very valid.

Having said that I must add that if the name ends up being The Workbench that would be ok as-well.

I voted early on and pickd what I thought was the most appropraite of the choices but can't remember which one! My preference would still br for something else such as
Board Level
Circuits and Chips
Circuit Corner
Repairs and Mods
or any combination of the above or similar that gives a suitably "Techy" feel..
Then again I didn't suggest any of these in the time allotted and so, as Chris Farlowe says, I'm Outta Time.

Yes, any of these would have been better than the current selection. Only workbench and engineering workshop sound ok. With the rest, I just think of options settings and things like that.

btw Puncher, it tells you which one you voted for underneath the results.

i voted also for Advanced technical Forum and i agree vith wtlc2zpx , it is the only one that makes sense for those whom mother langage is not english

Thats a fair comment of course as we are a global site after all, but note that a full description of the forum and its purpose will be underneath this heading name in plain English.

As Beoworld want to be a global site rather than a UK site, I think this should be taken into account.
