She had made a reservation at the &quot;Greyhound&quot; but when we arrived everything was in darkness, funny we thought, until we saw the note on the door and the electricity board digging up the road. Yes, you guessed, no power in about a third of the village. So, we headed to Winchester about 20 minutes from Stockbridge and tried to get into Raymond Blanc&#39;s new restaurant, but fully booked, yes on a Tuesday.
