i need something to read while I perform the sound checks. The Parts Express catalogue is a little bland form my tastes. The middle contact was a bit tempermental at first but as the new lube gets moved around and the loading tray glides more freely the switching issue has gone away. Doesnt skate at all when I am playing Cd's. so far it has played everything I have fed it.

Tobacco smoke nearly killed it. The tar plaque was so bad the drwer would no longer open or close properly. the belt was spun out. and rotted. It couldnt read a CD.

but using this thread and other like it i was able to get it going again. Seems to be working much better and doesnt sound too bad at all. realigning all the gears wasnt as tough a task as I thought it would be.
