I'm stuck in the 80's as well [I really love the design and quality]

But I really don't like these JJ's (perhaps because I own a pair of the original {penta's}....:-)

I think the JJ Design speakers do not look bad. But most of the other speakers in their range are real ugly boxes!

the colors are a bit difficult to discern, but they look rather complimentary to a set of bl3000-5000.

hmmm...

oops indeed............I use my Penta III with a few sets BL5000 and BL4500 [all designed by lone and Gideon Lindinger-Loewy] and won't replace them for these..................big ugly thingies......

There is a small grain of truth in there, in that B&O's former designer may see it as a way to sell greater quantities. But the salesman was exaggerating wildly.

I do love the John Jensen B&O designs though. They are still my favourites.

My brother-in-law visited Swedens largest hif-seller to buy speakers. The young salesman tried to sell him some from Dantax, and claimed it was runned by B&O as a way to sell large quantities at lower costs. Which of course is just rubbish and why I never enter this kinds of stores.

Anyway, I browsed the website of Dantax and found the speakers JJDesign. Wonder if JJ has designed something similar before?

I love the design he made in the past for B&O, but I also think it was good our friend Lewis took over as head of design. And maybe it´s now time for a new design master to enter the halls of Struer.

Just my two Swedish ören.
