I remember that he mentioned that this was quite a bit of work to get the Beo 4 compatible IR into the Ipod dock.

Since my BV8 can control the ATV sooner or later other TVs should be able too. And then there is also the kit from Oneremote that enhancers the Beo4.

JK

Re: IPod Integration to BC2

I'm interested in seeing if I can get Ridax's system to work with an Apple TV, I'm sure it's not too difficult...

Re: IPod Integration to BC2

Hi

Thanks to you both for the positive feedback - it is appreciated.

Clive

Re: IPod Integration to BC2

Hi Clive,

I highly recommend the ridax ipod-station. It works really great. I have mine since about 2 years now, it is the datalink-version, connected to BS 7000 A.TAPE 2 socket,, so I can control it via N.MUSIC on Beo4. This works also from linkrooms. And it also works connected to my BC 9500 and my MCL 2AV. For newer audiosystems like BS 9000, 3000... you will need the IR version, because these systems have no datalink pin on the AUX-sockets, which means, you can`t control your ipod from linkrooms. If you plug your ipod into the station, your ipod, the audiomaster and speakers will be switched on, and music starts playing - very nice (datalink version, I`m not sure about IR version...). Pressing STDBY will switch your audiomaster, speakers and ipod off.

BTW Mikael (ridax) is a very friendly and helpful guy.

Hope this helps

Stefan

Re: IPod Integration to BC2

Ridax is a member of the forum - though not here that much. Does it work? Is it reasonably 'robust'? I am assuming the level of (B&O Remote) control suggested by the web site.

Thanks,

Clive
