Like many products these days, the Beocom 6000 does indeed work using the 2.4 Ghz frequency band, and sometimes there can be problems, but in my experience they are few and far between.

In my own home I have 6 Beocom 6000's, three wireless routers and several wireless adapters which also use the same frequency band, but without any problems.

You can use several DECT phones in the same environment because they have unique addresses which you appear to believe is not important.

I suggest you connect your new skyPE phone up and test it yourself.

I am specificlly referring to RF interference. Unique addresses would not be relevant. On a Google search, I see that the BeoCom 6000 operates in the 2.4 GHz frequency. Now, so does my home WiFi network and so does my planned new DECT Skype phone. Has anyone experienced voice quality/connection issues when mix and matching other 2.4 GHz solutions such as the above in an environment with BeoCom 6000 phones? Also, does anyone know exactly what frequencies/channels the BeoCom 6000 uses?

B&O, please refer this post to your engineers..I fear I may not get an adequate response on this forum.

Generally speaking you should not have a problem because they all use a unique address.

I have been given a Skype DUALphone 3088 as a gift. I see it also uses DECT technology. Before I open the packaging and connect it up, can anyone tell me if interference with my BeoCom 6000 phones will occur? I am not familiar with DECT - can two separate DECT telephone systems operate in the same proximity?
