They were very good. However, my friend has a 3500 system mounted using just screws protruding from the wall and hung via the holes in the back of the units. Looks & works fine. I think if i did that method I'd use some sort of spacer to lift the lower part of the mounted units away from the wall to reduce the angle so it lies flatter & the CD mech isn't tilted too much beyond the vertical.

One important point before you do anything though is make sure all the glass panels are fixed firmly otherwise you'll end up with a disaster. We don't want you to mobe it (do a forum search). These systems have reached an age now that very few glass panels are secure. It's easily rectified.

Good luck!

Steve

Beosystem 35/4500 - Wall mounting options?

Hi everyone.

This is my first post on this forum but I was an active beoworlder on the old, old forum many years ago!

I have just bought a 3500 system, gram cd/cord/master and intend to wall mount it - However I don't have a bracket. Also the metal cable covers are missing... Can the system be mounted somehow without a bracket? I used to have a 2400-2 wall mounted and that was done by using the slotted screw holes and the rear of the amplifier. Is there a similar arrangement on my 3500? (not collected it yet!)

If I need a bracket, where can I source one from? I will check availability of a new one tomorrow but I am not very hopeful so thought I would expand my options on here! :)

Best wishes

Llewelyn
