    Problems turning on a MX7000

    Hi,

I have a problem with my MX7000. If I turn it off, it can not be turned on again within 1-2 minutes.

The LED turns green, but goes red after less than a second.

    Has anyone experienced this?

    /Peter

Not seen this particular problem before ... but suspect there is something a bit marginal that changes performance with time/heat.

If you switch it on from "cold" ... ie first thing in the morning, then immediately off then immediately on again ... what happens?

Thanks, I will try that tomorrow.

I will also try to disconnect the motorized stand to see if that has any affect on the problem.

Re: Problems turning on a MX7000

I have examined this further. The problem doesn't seem to have anything with temperature to do. Unless there is some component that gets warm quick.

If the unit is turned on for a few seconds it wont turn on in a couple of minutes if turned off.

I also tried to disconnect the motorized stand but that didn't help.

     Any suggetsions?

    Best Regards
    Peter

    hi

I think it's in the power supply there are some bad connection with some of the resistor's, or in the EHT on C106. if it's c106 you need a new BU2508 also, and then check the red wire to the deflection coll, (print on the deflection)  for bad connection.
