Just seen this on the main B&O site, looks like all dealers are doing this offer. Craig

Jandyt: Glad you clarified that, Mams. My flyer didn't mention buying anything but the speakers too. Seems like a pretty good deal if you want a Beolab 3500. Not quite as generous if you are buying 5s though. Andy T.
Wait until you see the installation cost for the Beolab 3500!

This is just in the UK, correct? I'm *this* close to buying a BL3500 - just need to check out those pesky installation costs first. However, I've heard nothing of this offer in the US. Stan

Stan - the offer in UK is different for new/existing users. If you already own a product ( verified by previous warranty registrations ) then as andy posted earlier, buying a qualifying Beolab speaker gets you a complimentary Beo5. On the less expensive models this is a stunning offer in percentage terms - and still a very good offer higher up the range. For new customers, the offer of a Beo5 is made when buying a TV and a pair of Beolabs - now you could view this as not as generous - a kinder interpretation would be its still a good offer - the best part of £500 - and by not needing to purchase a TV ( they may be audio only, or already own a TV ) exisiting owners are simply getting a "Thank You" as well.

Stan, I was in to visit my dealer last week and the only "special" they mentioned was a trade in for speaker upgrade to BL 9 or BL 5's. Trade-in value for Pentas, BL-6000 to BL-1 $1,000 towards the BL-9 and $2,000 for the BL-5 as I recall. Now the free Beo5 with for purchasing a BL-2 would be an offer that might push me off the fence! But I'm sure the cost to program the Beo 5 is "not included" Roger
