    Beovision5 audio trouble

    Hello.

    Yesterday i have received a fantastic Beovision5.

    Wanderful television, but i have a big trouble and it is impossible to watch it.... :(

    This is a pre owned television and it comes to a different country... i live in Italy and television comes from UK. 

     This is the fact:

    I have turned on television and it asked to me pin code.
    I have insert some numbers, but obvyously it response "error".
    I have tryed to insert some other numbers... obvyously error again.
    I have turned off television.
    I have turned on television and while it turned on, i have pressed the left arrow buttom on beo4.
    The tv started.
    So i went to tune the channels.
    I have memorized some channels, they look fine, but they have no audio.
    When i change channel, on the top of the screen, i read "TV" and the channel number (painted on red) for 1 second. While i read on the top of the screen the channel number, i can hear audio!! When the channel number on the top of the screen disappears, audio disappears too and the tv become mute!...... :(
    This happens for every channel.... i can hear audio only for 1 second. Then, audio mute.

    I have selected 'auto tuning', so the television has memorized every available channel.
    I have tryed to look at every available channel and i have found one channel (the name is "Rai 2") with audio.
    I can hear  the audio only on this channel.
    In every other channels, i can hear audio only for 1 second.

    I have tryed to change some setting in audio options, but i have had no positive results...

    I don't think the matter is different country because i think in this case, i would not have hear audio even in first 1 second...... but it is only my suppose.
    I think it is a setting problem or a malfunction...i don't know...

     

    I hope someone can help me..... i have no more ideas and i don't know what can i do...

    Its possible that it is set to PAL I ... not B/G which will be required in Italy ... the result is perfect picture and no sound.  Have you tried with a SCART source?

    The problem was the setting  'PAL I'.

     

    The solution was changing the value in:

    -service menu
      -Tv tuner
        -tuning system
    from 16 (UK) to 1 (ITA)
     
    Now everything is ok!!

    Btw, did you mean you can use your TV without the pin code?

    Yes, i know i can use tv without pin code, but it needed pin because it was off from some times....

    I have beovision 5 only from 2 days, and i must tell it is really a great beautiful television! Every time i enter into my house and i see beovision5, i am impressed of it!

     

    I want to public thanks to Mr. Lee Marriott and the "Lifestyle av"'s staff!

    I don't speak english very well, but they was very patience with me and they have made a wanderful work! Everything has gone well and i am proud to was one of their customer!
