    BEO5 and LC2 custom configuration

I have 3 LC2's in the living room and in the past I programmed them. With the command (BEO4) link light 9 the LC2's light the lamps in my custom configuration. My dealer doesn't know how to make it work with my BEO5? Who knows the answer?????

The Beo5 uses the same IR codes as the Beo4. So you just gave the answer yourself.

Your dealer simply has to programm the IR codes for LINK -> Light -> 9 into a Beo5 button, labeled for instance "Lights on".

Just tell your dealer which buttons you used on the Beo4 and he should be able to get it working.

It looks simple. Last week I have got the config tool software and installed it. For now without the BEO5 because I don't have the config file yet and I don't want to start with no configuration. I'am practising with the software only.

Can you give me a hint about the command lines for link light 9?

Why LINK LIGHT? This function only exists in 2 way systems controling light in a linksystem.

The function LIGHT 9 (should be the same) is in the standard configuration. Press LIGHT and Setting 9.

No Stefan, LIGHT 9 does not do the same as LINK LIGHT 9 and Yes I have still a partly 2-way system. My Beosystem 7000 is still in 2-way mode and controls my LC2's. So I want to have the LINK LIGHT 9 on mu BEO5.

(Beosystem 7000 and LC2's are in the same room)

    Piet,

sorry, I did not know, that you have a 2-way system. I have a BS 7000 myself. But if BS 7000 and LCs are in the same room, you don`t need link-commands.

Try 1:000:LIGHT:CIFFER_9 - "1" on the top of the code is "LINK" ...I am not really sure, because I didn`t test Link-Light codes.

    Good Luck

    Stefan
