    Is it possible to connect an i pod via the aux input on MX7000?

    Is it possible to connect an i pod via the aux input on MX7000?

    In theory the Audio AUX Link should support it. I think that is how my BS9000 was connected originally, its a while ago now.

    You could use a Scart to RCA converter.  With some smarts you can set it up so that the TV and speakers turn on with the IPod.

    Thanks for your reply beohaus, i was thinking of using a seven pin din connecter to stereo jack via the aux audio input this would leave my 2nd scart free

    absolutely... you need a 5 pin to mini-jack cable. You then just press av then cd on your remote and the sound comes out of the active speakers. i had this set up until i got my bv3. now i have to run it thruogh a beolink converter then through the masterlink socket. Works a treat!!
