I have a BS9000 in my bedroom. My wife love it (especially at night!). ( it replaced the BS4)

I have also a BC2 in my living room.

Go for BS9000 IMHO. It's a piece of art. Each time I'm going to sleep, the BS9000 is waiting for me....That's cool! Makes me sleep well!

I am planning to buy an audio system too and can't decide between BC2-Audio and BS9000. What are the advantages of the one (not talking about design) to the other in you opinion?

Why would you limit the pleasure of looking at the BS9000 to the bedroom. I have mine in the livingroom and via masterlink it is connected to a BV6 with Beolab 8000 in the bedroom. Still have the option to have me waken up by it. The timer function also works in link-rooms.

    Advantage BC2

    - DVD player

    - smaller

    Advantage BS9000

    - multi CD

    - no hide away box

For the rest it is up to you what you like best

    Re: BS 9000

    Because......................

I have a BS 7000 in the lounge with Penta 3's stood either side of my Avant with 4000's as rear and a V8000 hidden away.

Don't really want the BS7000 upstairs as most of the music listening is down stairs................i can really crank it up as i live in a converted old village hall. The BS9000 i agree would look great down stairs.

However if i have it upstairs with a pair of 4000's i can link it to a Bl 2000 in the bathroom and it can wake me in the morning too!

    Regards

    Tom,

In my case, I cannot tell you which one is better. Each one has something ‘special’ and for this reason I am very subjective.

I cannot have one without the other one.

They are quite different, I know. Will be a hard choice. I will need some more time, but I hope I won't regret it afterwards. Great avatar!

Heard some bad reports on wireless.................

Also there is some doubt if it's compatible with the BS7000 due to age!?!?

    .....

I was about to buy the wireless and I had a test with my dealer in the store:

    ----------- BL3 + wireless   via BS3200 = the sound was awful.....

    ----------- BL3 + BS3200 = sound OK...

If you want HI-FI, then forget wireless.
