Beo4 Cinema, My PC, My Video....

    Hi All,

Just bought 2nd hand Beo4 with the following upper part key pad :

    TV/MENU/RADIO

    DVD/CINEMA/CD

    MyVideo/MyPC/MyMusic

Wanted to use it in my den, where I'm using a BV6 as a PC monitor AND as a TV (via a decoder).

The My PC key is perfect, I have an instant access to my PC (which makes sense.....)

I would like to watch TV  pressing the My Video key, but I don't know if I can program that key with another function than CAMCORD...which appears on the BV6 when I press it.

If ever somebody knows.... Thank you in advance!

    Regards from snowy French Alps,

    Laurent.

congratulations on getting one of those special HOTEL versions of the Beo4

it is meant for hotel room integration where guests could plug in their portable devices and get easy access to them

I don't know if the Beo4 MyVideo (or even MyMusic) key can be re-programmed, but are you able to wire  the decoder to the CAMERA port ?

And do you have any plans for integrating any portable music player ?

First B&O (1976) was a Beogram 1500 ... latest (2011) change has been to couple the BL11 with the BL6Ks *sounds superb*

    Hi Elephant,

    Thanks for your reply.

I was not aware that Beo4 was another hotel version, thought there was only one hotel focused version.

I don't know if it is possible to connect the decoder to the camcorder port, but that would make sense, thank you.

I don't really plan to use a MP3 player, as the BV6 is a PC monitor and I therefore use directly iTune.

    Cheers from frozen French Alps,

    Laurent.
