What's most problematic is where you are in the world. Seeing that you're -5.00 GMT, that takes you outside of Europe. The DVD 2 has no IR sensor. Therefore, it relys entirely on the SCART connection to communicate commands. If you find a work-around to this, please let me know. I, too, would love to have a DVD2 sitting atop my BeoSystem 3 for playback of Region 2 DVDs in the U.S.
