    Powerlink up to what length?

    Hi everybody

Anybody knows up to what length you can use Powerlink Cables without having distortion or noise you can hear?

Perhaps a silly question but i haven't found the answer in the faq or older posts.

    All suggestions are very appreciated.

    Best regards

    David

The longest pre-terminated Powerlink cable made is 20 meters(66 feets). Do you need a cable longer than that?

Re: Powerlink up to what length?

My experience with one run of two 20M Powerlink cables a few years ago was that the sound was a little " noisy " at first.

I moved two appliances nearby ( a television and an SSB radio ) and that did not solve the sound quality. We have much electronics around here. I then ran hard silicone conduit with the Powerlinks inside, and that solved the problem for the moment.

Along came Master-link, and that changed everything. One M-L run only, shorter mains/electrical powerlink connections close to each amplified speaker, with the result of much better sound being produced, including N.MUSIC and N.RADIO Internet sources.
