Small linked system - help please!

    Hi all,

Have a BV6 without ml socket, I want to create a master slave system with a BS4, how do I do it(My downloaded copy of the ML system is on my laptop which is currently under warranty repair)

The BS4 is currently connected to an MX7000 via a converter box but that uses the audio output socket of the tv which of course there isn't on the BV6   ---------    Help please!!!

Hi - I think you are trying to connect the new BV6 to the BS4 as a replacement for the MX7000 ?

And you want to do it without having to upgrade the BV6 by having the MasterLink system module added ?

This takes one down the path of trying to link one unit's audio out to the other unit's audio in.

I presume your speakers are attached to the BS4 ?

The BS4 has an AUX-IN, so the question is how to get the audio out from the BV6 into the AUX-IN of the BS4 ?

First B&O (1976) was a Beogram 1500 ... latest (2011) change has been to couple the BL11 with the BL6Ks *sounds superb*

That's not audio output, it's Datalink (socket is named "Audio Aux Link"), a predecessor to ML. Your converter is a Beolink Converter. The only way to get the same with BV6 is to install a ML module. No need for the converter box any longer (if you skip the MX).
