cleaning of brushed aluminium

hi again. can anybody suggest an effective method of cleaning the brushed aluminium surrounds of my penta 111 cabinets.have tried window cleaner which is not very effective.basically i want to get rid of the fingermarks and general smudges but i understand nothing abrasive should be used.i need something that is readily available and not something i can only buy from a chemist.

I've been cleaning my Beo with Goof Off sheets.

Current primary listening: SMMC20EN -> BG4002 -> BM4000 -> Beovox M70
