Now that I have BL9, I think about replacing them with BL5....

But I don't know what it would look like close to my BV10-40.

Do you have some pics to share to show me how such a set-up looks like?

BUY A CARPET!!!!!

The BL9 will sound better if you furnish a little bit your room... And the BL5 will not sound as good as it can sound in your empty livingroom...

I once installed a pair of Beolab 5's in a room with an exposed stone wall, polished ceramic floor, 3 glass walls and a high, angled glass ceiling. There were no soft furnishings of any description and it sounded terrible!

I have a similar problem where I live as I have very high ceilings and a polished floor in the main room although it isn't as bad as that. You definitely do need some soft furnishings for good sound, especially with powerful speakers.

This i with BeoVision 10-46. On friday i get B&O Cabinet Small. It wil stand to the left from the tv.

I know what you advise me.

My wife's parents will offer us a big carpet for christmas, that's some good news!

About the BL5, I've already ordered them...they should be delivered on december the 6th...

The fact I decided to buy (today) some BL5 to replace my BL9 is because I felt like touching the angels hands but not god's...If you understand what I mean.

To me, as a B&O fan for years, I've always wanted to get some BL5 as they are the Holy Grail for me.

Sorry Elephant, I asked my dealer to move the BL5 from the Beoliving close to a BV10-40 in the rush to see how it would look like at home...
