Hi just wondering if anyone has any experience ordering a BV7-55 with BL10? I understand that is not the standard setup from B&O and some dealers do not allow that???
Aesthetically I like the BL10 with BV7-55 on motorised floor stand, but how does the BL10 sound compare to BL7.6 or BL.7.4? Also, how does the price compare between the speakers?
Thank you!

BL10 is a BL4 in a triangular shape, so no difference there. BL 7.6 has no ALT so there will be a difference. If you want a stand alone TV go for 7.6 as it has stereo. 7.4 and 10 are mono speakers designed for centre channel.
STB brackets has a bracket for this combination, click the ad below.

I have a 7-55 with a BL 10 and running with 4 BL 1's and sounds fab. remember that the BL 10 is a Mono Speaker that works with surround set-ups!
I have tryed all the center speakers for the 7 tv's apart fron the BL 7-6 and liked
the BL10. The ALt really helps also.
Enjoy.

Thanks for the responses!
I currently already have a B&O surround setup so a mono speaker will be fine for that purpose.
But how does the price compare between BL10 and BL7.4?

Afaik there is no big difference in price between these two center speakers. When I switched from BV7-40 MKII to MKIII, I replaced my BL7.4 with a BL10 just for optical reasons - I have BL5 (black) as front speakers and I love my old AV9000...
But to my surprise there IS a difference in sound to BL7.4. To my ears BL10 sounds richer, warmer. BL7.4 is more mid frequency voiced.
I know that in both speakers you will find the same electronics and speakers. That`s why I didn`t expect a tonal difference at all..
So for me BL10 perfectly matches my BL5.

Yes the BL10 does sound richer and warmer, thats why I got mine after having all the other speakers beforehand.

I think the BL10 is the way to go for me too, hopefully the dealer will let me place the order in combination with the BV7-55.
Just wondering, has anyone every used BV7-55 with BL7.2?

Hello,
I also would prefer the BL 10 together with a BV 7-55 or BV 7-40 because:
- BL 10 sounds a little bit better than a BL 7.1 (or 7.2, 7.4, 7.6),
- BL 10 looks nicer,
- You can hide cables and/or a settop-box behind the BL 10.
I am always wondering why the BL 10 together with a BV 7 is not an official solution from B&O, so you have to go for STB-brackets.
Regards

Because the when you buy any BV 7 you are ment to have one of the BV 7 speakers which is fine NOT the BL 10 as thats ment for the BV 4's BUT more and more people love the looks and sound of the BL 10 and it sounds warmer and richer!
And remember if it was not for STB-brackets no one would have a BL 10 under there BV 7. B&O should have made this available for the 7 first off, they missed something maybe at the time?
As I have posted before I have had all the BV 7 speakers apart from the 7-6 but loved the BL 10 on the first hearing.
