    COMMERCIAL BREAK #5

    Now 15deg B&O pickup !

It was senior engineer E. Rørbæk Madsen who, a couple of years
ago, suggested - and got accepted - an international standard of
a 15 degrees vertical cutting angle for recording of gramophone records.
Previously this cutting angle varied heavily to the effect that not all pickups
were able to play all records with equally good results.
Today, the 15 degree cutting angle is an international
standard and is, of course, found on the worldfamous B&O diamond pickups.
