I doubt it'll sell, but i thought i'd give it a punt as you can only have one number plate on one car at one time - with me selling both my cars and replacing them with a new one arriving September.  Time for a vehicular reshuffle as it's all getting a bit silly now.

I'll need to change my username if it does go though, which will be quite strange..

I reckon they don't have personal plates in your part of the world, we don't have them in Holland either. I'm not quite sure how well these are selling nowadays, but I had a quick look on the net and 30k seems about right for the 9 Lee plate.

The number 1, along with my initials, is my 'dream number plate' - but this time it wasn't to be.  The price just got too silly for what it was worth to me.  Ah well, you win some you lose some - that's life.

So, 9 LEE will be my handle for the forseeable future..  I'm not sad about it.  

I did take delivery of my new car on 1st September as mentioned though (the day the 'new registration' comes out in the UK, although this is irrelevant thanks to the cherished number!) - and i'm delighted with it.  It's on my new avatar!

So one good thing, one not so good thing.  Balance was achieved. LOL

wow, 30,000? I knew it was like this in the middle east, but wow I had no idea it was like that across the UK and parts of Europe? Even I had a hard time swallowing the $100 cost of custom plates for my Porsche and Miata here in the US... I will now stop my bickering :)

Here's the replacement.  Much less glamorous and about a quarter of the running costs..  more like it.
