Hi I am just about to get 2nd hand b + o dvd1 , just wondering can I connect this to non b and o tv with scart ? Also my beo4 remote does not have dvd button on it can someone please tell  me how I can set up beo4 to operate b and o dvd1 ?

You should be able to add the 'CDV' function to your Beo4, which acts as if it were DVD.

However, your DVD1 will not have its own IR sensor hence will not work from the  Beo4 without being connected to a B&O TV.  You can of course use the DVD1 front panel switches.
