    Beovision 8 purchase

    Hi all,

I am contemplating the purchase of a Beovision 8-40 because I feel that it is an all around good TV. However, since I mainly own Bang & Olufsen audio products, I am not sure if this TV actually has good enough picture quality for this size range. Anyone seen it?

    Re: Beovision 8 purchase

Own the 8-40 100hz since 2010. Therefore the 8-32. In Comparison to other Beovision, the 8-40 with its inbuild DVB-module is for 4k a bargain (DVB-module for other BV round € 700). The 8-40 and 10-40 share the chasis. I think 8-40 has a Sharp panel, others like 10-40 and 7-40 Samsung. Speaker of 8-40 is much better than 10-40. But you have to love the design.

Yes, the 7-40 is much better. Incl. the BL7.1 and a DVB-module, the BV7-40 200hz version is round 10k.

Sound of 8-40 better than 10-40. Sound of the 7.1/2/4/6 is in a other world.

Design of 8-40 not as B&O style like 10-40/7-40. Plastic vs alu & glass.

Don`t know if the picture of the latest 8-40 200hz is better/as good as 10-40.

Picture of 7-40 is better. But is it that much better?

Check 8-40, 10-40, 7-40 side by side at the local dealer.

For 4k the 8-40 gives you a very good packet.

    BeoVision 8-40, ATV2, BeoSound 4, Front BeoLab 9, Rear Beolab 4000 MKII, Beo 4
