To update your Ouverture to the last software it needs to get an additional ic implemented including soldering and the old software ic need to get swapped, too.

Normally its a job for the friendly guys from the service - as they are the ones, who can provide such sw-upgrade normally.

    Regards,

    Tom

Updating the Ouverture won't help to get this working. Only the wireless needs the latest sw to use with masterlink setup.

Sorry I don't understand your reply. My beolink wireless have sw 2.1, only Beosound Ouverture and beolab 3500 have sw 1.1

I'm not an expert (I do have a working wireless setup with a BS9000, BS5 and BV8 as sources), but I'm not aware of any compatibility issues between a Beosound and Beolink Wireless (this is what the previous poster is saying).  That is, so long as all of your Wireless units have the same software, then it doesn't really matter what software the Beosound or Beolab has because (to my knowledge) the wireless unit does not change the masterlink protocol.
