    Beolink active help!!

    Hey Guys 

    I have a beolink active 1636 connected to a pair of beolab 8000 speakers, from the PC port i run a cable(http://soundsheavenly.co.uk/bando-beolinkrca.htm) to my panasonic plasma. the problem is when i choose PC on my beo4 no sound if coming, the speakers or beolink eye dont even shift to green.

    i have nothing connected to the masterlink socket.

     

    any ideas what is wrong ?

    nice try

    but in your setup there is no cpu present which understand and can handle this command. You must have a audio or video master

    ahh, so i need to have something connected to the masterlink ?

    Yes, even though the audio from the PC port is not sent on masterlink, the active always needs a "master".

    Get an MCL2 AV. It can work As an audiomaster. Connect your BL8000s to Powerlink, and your TV out to One of three available Inputs (7 Pin DIN): CD, A.TAPE, A.AUX.

    It,s also possible to connect a Lintronic Box to MCL Box. In this Way you can control your Plasma in Tv Mode, if you Set MCL2 AV to A.OPT 2. Www.Lintronic.dk

    MCL2 AV are Not Producer anymore, but you will find One cheap on DNA.dk.
