I have one of these, and can't recall if it was a B&O supplied POS item, or a locally supplid item in the UK
It therefore could be a rare collectors item, or a piece of scrap.
Anyone remember these ? It looks like a pipecleaner man, with wooden head and hands, but all metal body and feet.

Generally speaking, you aren't learning much if your lips are moving.
I have a feeling that the robot was Plumbs issue rather than B&O. Can Lindsay offer any help? Perhaps it was slightly before his tenure.

Maybe it was..... has Robot embossed on all the joints though, so looks like a costly / bespoke thing.... I don't recall who sourced them, but it was ( I'm almsot certain) part of a beo-display...... or maybe not.
Spike, as he is know, would have gone to the big window display in the sky many years ago, if I wasn't such a magpie.
