    BL4000 and connections

    Hi everyone,

With BL4000 mk1 and connection to a non B&O setup (Yamaha receiver), is it better to use:

    a) the powerlink to rca cables, or

    b) just a regular RCA cable?

The speaker has 2 connections: powerlink and RCA.

I have connected RCA and set to line, but wondering if it would make any difference using a) above.

    Thanks in advance

I have the BL4000 Mk1 (with switches) and the powerlink to RCA cables didn't work for me and B&O told me they only work with the MK2s. I switched to the RCA cables and they work really well with my Marantz amp.

    Re: BL4000 and connections

Thanks for the confirmation Major.  It's just the manual when i was searching said to use PL to RCA.  I'm using RCA at the moment.  I switch the speakers between the amp and now have become a very good pair of speakers for the imac using RCA to 3.5mm jack.

Does anyone else have any experience with using PL to RCA cables with the Mk1 BL 4000?

    Regards
